Part of Victor's teaching training involves once a month Saturday classes - which is pretty hard on a certain little girl who counts down the days til Saturday! So this past Saturday we spent the day with Grandmother and Grandpapa. We got there for breakfast - Victoria had requested pancakes, bacon, and eggs (that's my girl!). Then we played outside for most of the day. But spring in East Texas brings lots of pollen and it was a windy day, blowing pollen everywhere. So we ended up playing in the garage where Grandpapa set up a swinging bar for Victoria, and Grandmother brought out some new riding toys from the local second-hand shop. Charlie just had fun getting into stuff and trying to ride an old rocking horse that Grandpapa was fixing. And per Victoria's request, we had a picnic - in the garage. That was a first, I think, for all of us! Overall, a fun day!
