Highlights of the month included a field trip to a local plant farm and planting our own flowers and a vegetable garden (and watching everything start to grow - this year we've finally outsmarted the slugs and the kids are eating strawberries every day! :) ). We read LOTS of great books about flowers and gardening this month, but our author of the month was Lois Ehlert.
