January blahs

For those of you who are loyal Texans, you may or may not agree, but east Texas is just plain depressing in the winter! I mean, at least in places like . . . hmmm . . . east TENNESSEE, there's the hope of a big snow or two each winter. And even if it doesn't snow where you are, you get to see those beautiful snow-covered mountains! But, Texas? Just cold! (and then warm, and then cold, and then warmer, and then colder, and then maybe an ice storm . . .) But despite the dullness of the month, we managed to have some fun. We had to get a little creative at times - making our own snowflakes, having family talent shows, and Charlie's new favorite pasttime - Playdough! He lasts about ten minutes before he eats it! :) So, stay warm and enjoy the photos!

If it makes you feel any better, we couldn't enjoy what snow we got yesterday. Sarah was soooo excited, but her parents were BOTH too sick to take her out in it!! :-p
