One of the kids' favorite things about this summer's trip was getting to meet Negra and Rayos, our cousin Natis' new dogs! Abuelito and Abuelita already have one dog - Coquis - a pit bull who lives on the roof, but obviously we do not play with him! So, they were excited to get to play with these two perritos every day! My mother-in-law says they keep her awake with their barking, but the kids slept wonderfully every night (I have no idea how - I hardly can sleep at all when we go to Monterrey - you would not believe the noise - dogs, people, cars, music - all night long there is noise! I guess young ears adjust easier! LOL)! Katherine learned to sign "dog" while we were there, too! :)
