Election Time

Ok, since this will be Victor's first opportunity to vote in an American presidential race (first time to vote period in America!), we have been watching all the news coverage a little more closely. It seems there are several BIG issues - the economy, the war, health care. And then there are the issues of education and immigration. We have opinions on these issues, of course, just like everyone else. However, it strikes us that there are two issues that are rarely addressed by the national media, and for us as followers of Christ, these are our most important issues - the candidate's view of the family (one man, one woman, for life) and their view of the sanctity of human life. So, debate all you want about the economy and health care, but the Rodriguez family will be casting our votes based purely on the issues of pro-family and pro-life.
